How does medical acupuncture work?
The body has over 2000 acupuncture points. When these points are stimulated during an acupuncture treatment, the body’s natural painkillers are released through our biochemical responses, promoting pain relief.
Is it safe for me?
Completely! Acupuncture has been a government approved form of treatment since 1996 and only licensed clinicians are allowed to perform the practice. Acupuncture has been a system of medicine for more than 2500 and by far, its efficacy and safeness are proven through the years.
How many treatments do I need?
Some people feel immediate relief after one treatment but in most cases, more sessions are required. The number of sessions depends on your specific condition. If you have been enduring the pain for a long time, you may be required longer course of treatment for effective and lasting pain relief.
Do the needles hurt?
Generally, acupuncture DOES NOT hurt. The insertion of fine needles (about the diameter of human hair) may bring a slight tingling feeling as the needle reaches its point, but for most patients, they don’t feel discomfort at all.

I took advantage of an offer for a free physical assessment, and the trainer was very helpful in pointing out some errors in my squat technique, even providing me with a free workout routine supplement to make sure I avoid future injury. I get massage there regularly as well, and I always leave feeling uplifted and with restored mobility.
